We are close to many Ohio grain terminals and feed mills which makes it convenient for us to haul our own grain and feed with our own semis. Also Northwest Ohio is a strong agricultural area which is a good fit for our business.
DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:
Pettisville Grain Co. has been in business since 1903 and continues to grow. They are one of the few privately owned grain & feed elevators left in the state. Roy Nofziger became sole owner in the 1950's followed by his son Rodney. In 2003 four individuals purchased the company. They currently have 23 employees; four have been employed for more than 40 years and six between 20-30 years. They strive to provide great customer service in all areas of their business such as free or low cost pick up of customer grain. One of Pettisville Grain Co.’s main goals is to give back generously to their local schools and charitable institutions along with nonprofit mission organizations around the world. In 2015 they had a major expansion and renovation projects in both Delta and Pettisville with a cost of $1.8 million. Their main feed supplier is Kalmbach Feeds which carries a whole range of livestock, show feed and Tribute a country wide premier horse feed.
