WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DOING BUSINESS IN OHIO?
Ohio is an amazingly business friendly state. On visits to other states, I’ve noticed in particular tax burdens and cost of living expenses that are much higher than we experience in the Buckeye State. We also benefit from so many wonderful communities in our state that are committed to supporting Ohio businesses.
DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:
Longview Barber Shop is the oldest barber shop in the city of Columbus and the oldest business in the Clintonville community.
Opened in 1919 by a returning World War I soldier named Tom Pletcher, Longview Barber Shop has mastered the feel of the traditional, neighborhood barber shop during its long history serving central Ohio.
Originally a two chair shop, Longview Barber Shop has grown during the recent barbering renaissance to a lively eight chair shop. The shop is staffed with 10 experienced, dedicated, self-employed barbers that are proud of their history and very excited about future opportunities to serve the entire Columbus community.
