What do you like about doing business in Ohio?I have been doing business in Ohio for 15 years and in that time have found that the Secretary of State makes filing your business and staying abreast to best practices easily accessible. This is also my hometown and I couldn't think of a better place to do business.
Description of business:Our mission is to provide access to affordable products and services within the urban core.
YEP! Fitness is proud to be considered a minority-owned full-service health and wellness center and the first of its kind in the Cincinnati market.
YEP! Fitness became a reality after Kurt Billups, CEO, Social Entrepreneur, and longtime community member felt that Cincinnati could be healthier. He did some research and decided that the Roselawn neighborhood would be an ideal location for the first facility. The ultimate goal is to get Cincinnati healthy by offering the most innovative ways to reach your fitness goals.
The facility offers cardiovascular and strength training machines as well as over 10,000 pounds of free weights. Services include personal training, group exercise classes, and nutritional store and consultations. YEP! is also recognized by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention as a Diabetes Prevention Program center. The newly-renovated space will include showers and locker rooms available for all customers.
YEP! also spearheaded the Greater Cincinnati Outdoor Gym presented by Mercy Health at the Cincinnati Reds Urban Youth Academy and have corporate partnerships with University of Cincinnati, Woodward Career Technical High School and Cincinnati-Hamilton County Action Agency, Cincinnati Recreation Commission.
