Motts Military Museum

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DOING BUSINESS IN OHIO?

Columbus, Ohio is situated within 500 miles of 2/3 of the U.S. population.

DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:

Motts Military Museum is housed in a 10,300 square foot facility and sits on 11 acres of land. It was founded by Warren E. Motts of Groveport, Ohio, who established the Museum as a 501(c)3, not-for-profit, tax exempt, educational organization. The mission of the Museum is: "To educate the public on the importance of America's military past through the documentation, collection, interpretation, and preservation of tangible artifacts and personal stories of the men and women who served and are serving in the military today."

The Museum exhibits start with the Indian Wars and cover all the wars America has been involved in, including the current war in Afghanistan. Each item displayed in the exhibits carries with it a personal story that helps us remember the price of freedom.

Outside exhibits include: armored equipment, artillery, WWII landing craft, an A-7 jet aircraft and three Vietnam era helicopters. The museum also has many items from the terrorist attacks on 9/11 including Ladder 18, a hook and ladder fire truck from Fort Pitt, NYC. The Museum's 70 volunteers spend many hours making the Museum a great place of honor for our Veterans.
