This March we are going green for St. Patrick’s Day by profiling businesses throughout Ohio that are environmentally conscious and friendly. These companies offer unique and innovative alternatives for saving energy, reducing waste and providing a more “natural” way of doing business. Greener Stock is a one-of-a-kind resource and design center in Cincinnati specializing in natural, non-toxic, and eco-friendly building products. Hartzler Family Dairy, in Wooster, provides Ohio with a healthy and organic choice in milk and dairy products, including milk still offered in glass bottles. Bright Idea Shops, in Akron, offers a variety of outdoor products made from recycled plastic lumber. OGW Energy Resources is a wholesale renewable/sustainable energy distributor and manufacturing representative located in Tipp City. Amazing Green Carpet Clean, in Reynoldsburg, offers carpet, tile/grout and upholstery cleaning services, using no water or chemicals. RSFi Office Furniture, in Worthington, provides a blend of new, re-manufactured, and renovated used office furniture. Melink Corporation works on large-scale solar projects and their corporate headquarters in Milford puts as much energy back on the grid as it uses. Finally, Staber Industries, in Groveport, is a manufacturer of energy efficient top loading tumble action washers, the only one of its kind in the country. There is a new way of doing business in Ohio that keeps a focus on protecting our environment, and these companies are helping lead the way.
