DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:

Food for Good Thought provides employment services for those with autism. The business houses many programs and over the past eight years has seen an increase in the number of individuals who are receiving services. They have a gluten free bakery in Clintonville that employees ten individuals with autism; a transition program on Ohio Dominican's campus that provides post-secondary education and paid internships to those who are still seeking more help towards independence; employment services that works to help 50 individuals annually secure employment in the community; and their summer program that hosts nearly 100 high school students with disabilities who participate in a 5 week work experience to help build employability skills. All of the individuals with disabilities that participate in one of their work programs are paid at least minimum wage for each hour they work, with most of the individuals working towards employment in the community.
