WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DOING BUSINESS IN OHIO?

Ohio’s incredible history and pop culture, as well as its status as a warm, rural state occupied by the most large, metropolitan cities of any state in the union.

DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:

Tony Packo’s has served its iconic great tasting food to millions of guests since founded by first-generation Hungarian-Americans Tony and Rose Packo in 1932, and has been a vital member of not only its local Toledo community, but to the greater national community as well through its commercial grocery brands. The restaurant was first noticed by “out-of-towners” in 1976 when Toledo native Jamie Farr mentioned Packo’s in an episode of the iconic TV series M*A*S*H, a unique situation which still brings in visitors to this day to sample Packo’s famous hot dogs, chili, and pickles. Tony Packo’s is also known for the display of signed hot dog buns by celebrities, musicians and Presidents. The bun signing tradition was started in 1972 by Burt Reynolds; Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama all have signed buns on display. Tonight Show Host Jimmy Fallon loves Tony Packo’s hot dog sauce, Actress Katie Holmes favors Sweet Hot Pickles and Chef Michael Symon’s Guilty Pleasure is the Mother of All Dogs - M.O.A.D.  Stop in today for a memorable experience.
