The number of talented amateur and professional musicians allows SEOSO to offer quality orchestral performances and educational outreach to the community of Southeastern Ohio.

DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:

Founded in 1974, the Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra, a semi-professional community orchestra, operates in partnership with Muskingum University. SEOSO performs five concerts each season with three of these concerts in Brown Chapel on the Muskingum University campus.

As a gift to the community, SEOSO offers a free holiday pops concert in Zanesville. The annual children's concert takes place in Cambridge and provides family entertainment that introduces the children to orchestral instruments and music. Ensembles and guest artists provide educational outreach to the schools and the community.
