Children's Museum of Findlay

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DOING BUSINESS IN OHIO?

Our community is very supportive and has helped grow our non-profit from 0 to 254 family memberships in a year. Without that support, our reach wouldn’t have spread to the surrounding counties. Also, with the diversity of Ohio businesses, we have an endless supply of relevant educational activities that we can provide to show our patrons what Ohio is about!

DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:

The Children's Museum of Findlay was a project started by residents of Findlay with the intent of providing a facility for children to play and learn through hands on experiences. They wanted to provide a safe and inviting space for families of Hancock County and our surrounding areas that would offer a fun family learning experience focused around Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. In July of 2014 they opened a pilot museum, Little Main Street. In its first year Little Main Street welcomed over 16,000 visitors and has been voted Findlay's Rainy Day Destination by Findlay Family Magazine. The Little Main Street project has been well received by the community and the museum is looking to expand from the 7,500 square foot space by adding on the 3,500 square foot space next to its current location in the Findlay Village Mall.
