Mothers Helping Mothers, Inc

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DOING BUSINESS IN OHIO?

We like doing business in Ohio because there are a number of agencies and programs that we can work with to help eradicate homelessness.

DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:

Mothers Helping Mothers Inc. was established in 2009 to equip young mothers, ages 12-24, with the tools necessary to succeed beyond their present circumstances. We are a youth centered agency, addressing the overarching needs of homeless, pregnant youth. It is our mission to provide a refuge in which young mothers can receive mentoring, educational encouragement and empowerment. While there are a number of agencies helping the homeless, there are none as specialized as Mothers Helping Mothers Inc.

We have been aggressively growing and expanding every year since we started providing services in the Franklin County community. We have seen as much as a 10 percent increase in the need for our services since we came into existence in 2009. In 2012, we served 129 young mothers. In 2013 we expect to double that number, due to marketing, aggressive partnerships and sponsorships from area stakeholders.
