WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DOING BUSINESS IN OHIO?

We invest in the communities we serve. That is one of our core values and something we live by each and every day as an organization and as individual employees. The state of Ohio has provided us with many unique, amazing communities to call home.

DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS:

Vinton County National Bank (VCNB) was founded in 1867 in McArthur, Ohio. Since then, it has grown to encompass 17 branches across 8 Ohio counties.

They pride themselves in being a community-centered organization. They serve their communities by providing personalized loan and deposit services to individuals and local businesses. Community service and financial donations in the areas where they live and work are an integral part of their bank culture. Employees are encouraged (and recognized) to participate in community service annually.

VCNB sponsors financial literacy programs such as EverFi, Teach Children to Save, and Get Smart about Credit and gives monetary donations to worthy local causes year-round.

Because of VCNB’s superior overall financial picture, they have been rated as a 5-star financial institution by Bauer Financial Inc. for 62 consecutive quarters.  By earning Bauer Financial's highest 5-star rating for strength and stability, VCNB has again proven its commitment to providing banking excellence to their customers.
