Ohio Military Votes Update September 20, 2017
Dear Military and Overseas Voters:
The November 7, 2017 General Election is around the corner. Candidates for township, municipal, and board of education offices will appear on the ballot as well as two statewide ballot issues and over 1,500 in total local questions and issues. Details on the questions and issues which will appear on your ballot are available by clicking this link https://www.sos.state.oh.us/SOS/elections/Voters/aboutThisElection.aspx.

Ballots for military and overseas voters will be sent out starting September 23, 2017. If you have not requested a ballot already, please remember to submit your Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).
Completing the FPCA Form:
1. Fill out the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to register to vote and to request your ballot. It is a dual-purpose form. You can access the FPCA form here https://www.fvap.gov/eo/overview/materials/forms or use the Ohio automated assistant available here https://ohio.overseasvotefoundation.org/vote/home.htm to complete the form.
2. Simply, fill it out, print and sign the form. If you plan to email your form, scan it or take a picture of it.
3. Return the FPCA to the Ohio Secretary of State's office by email, fax or mail.

Email is the quickest way! Submitting your FPCA via email and requesting that your ballot be emailed to you is strongly recommended.
Remember, your properly completed FPCA must be postmarked or received by October 10, 2017 if you are updating your voter registration information or registering to vote.
If you are already registered to vote at the correct address and you just need to request your absentee ballot, your FPCA must be received by 12:00 noon on November 4, 2017.

As a military or overseas voter, you may receive your absentee ballot by email, fax or mail. Check the status of your ballot by visiting www.MyOhioVote.com.
