Dear Military Members and Overseas Voters:

What is on the Ballot?
Select the link https://www.sos.state.oh.us/sos/elections/electionsofficials/boeDirectory.aspx#dir (or copy and paste into your browser's address bar) to see what you can expect to be on the ballot.
Have you registered & requested your ballot?
Register to vote and request your ballot with one form: the FPCA
1. Fill out the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to register to vote or update your existing voter registration and to request your ballot. You can access the FPCA form https://www.fvap.gov/eo/overview/materials/forms or use the Ohio Automated Assistant https://ohio.overseasvotefoundation.org/vote/home.htm to complete the form.
2. Simply, fill it out, print and sign the form. If you plan to email your form, scan it or take a picture of it.
3. Return the FPCA to the Ohio Secretary of State's office:
- By email to [email protected]
- By fax to (614) 752-4360
- By mail to:
Ohio Secretary of State
P.O. Box 2828
Columbus, OH 43216-2828
You may also print the address onto your own envelope using the separate return envelope here: http://www.sos.state.oh.us/sos/upload/sites/mrv/returnenvelope.pdf
Email is the quickest way! Submitting your FPCA via email and requesting that your ballot be emailed to you is strongly recommended.
Have you received your ballot?
If you have requested your ballot and have not yet received it, contact your board of elections! You can access contact information for your board by selecting this link: http://www.sos.state.oh.us/SOS/elections/electionsofficials/boeDirectory.aspx
Ask the board officials to resend your ballot - by email will be the quickest!
Watch your inbox and track the status of your ballot.
Once you receive your ballot, promptly complete your ballot and return it to the board of elections. Regardless of how you received your ballot, your completed ballot may not be returned by email or fax. Carefully read the instructions provided with your ballot for the proper return of your ballot.
Included with your ballot will be a tracking number you may use to track the progress of your ballot. Once you fill out your ballot and mail it back to your board of elections, be sure to periodically use this link https://usoav.sos.state.oh.us/UOCAVA_vr__Login.aspx and the PIN provided to verify that your ballot has arrived at your county board of elections!
