Ohio Military Votes Update: November 3, 2016
Dear Military Members and Overseas Voters:
Over 22,000 absentee ballots have been transmitted to Ohio’s Military and Overseas Voters and nearly 11,500 have already been returned to the board of elections.
Mail your completed ballot back today. Please do not delay in mailing back your ballot.
Regardless of how you received your ballot, your completed ballot may not be returned by email or fax. Carefully read the instructions provided with your ballot for the proper return of your ballot.
- Complete the Identification Envelope/Statement of Voter.
The Identification Envelope/Statement of Voter must be completed, signed and submitted along with your ballot. If you received your ballot by mail, place your ballot in the completed and signed Identification Envelope provided.
If you received your ballot via email, place the ballot you voted in an envelope and affix the completed and signed Identification Envelope/Statement of Voter to the front of the envelope.
- Use the Return Envelope Template provided.
Place the completed and signed Identification Envelope/Statement of Voter containing your voted ballot in the return envelope. You may affix the return envelope template to the front of your own envelope.
The form or envelope provided is postage paid in the U.S. mail, including APO/FPO and diplomatic pouches, and should be affixed to an envelope. If using foreign postal systems, postage is required. Put the correct amount of local postage on the front of the envelope, in the top right corner.
- Mail by Election Day.
Ballots must be submitted for mailing by 12:01 a.m. on Election Day and received at the board of elections by November 18, 2016.

If you have requested your ballot and have not yet received it at this late date, contact your board of elections. You can access contact information for your board by clicking here.
Ask the board officials to resend your ballot - by email will be the quickest!
However, at this late date, you might wish to consider casting your vote via the Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot (FWAB). You can access the FWAB by selecting this link: https://www.fvap.gov/eo/overview/materials/forms

Watch your inbox and track the status of your ballot
Included with your ballot will be a tracking number you may use to track the progress of your ballot. Once you fill out your ballot and mail it back to your board of elections, be sure to periodically use this link https://usoav.sos.state.oh.us/UOCAVA_vr__Login.aspx and the PIN provided to verify that your ballot has arrived at your county board of elections!

Already registered in Ohio but have not requested your ballot?
Request Your Ballot with an FPCA by 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 5, 2016
1. Fill out the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to request your ballot. You can access the FPCA form https://www.fvap.gov/eo/overview/materials/forms or use the Ohio Automated Assistant (https://ohio.overseasvotefoundation.org/vote/home.htm) to complete the form.
2. Simply, fill it out, print and sign the form. If you plan to email your form, scan it or take a picture of it.
3. Return your request form to the Ohio Secretary of State's office
