Ohio Secretary of State's Office to Honor the Columbus Blue Jackets

COLUMBUS –The Columbus Blue Jackets have been selected by Secretary of State Jon Husted as one of July’s featured sports teams for the Ohio Business Profile program.

A representative from the Secretary of State’s office will visit with the team to present a certificate highlighting this accomplishment. As part of the Ohio Business Profile program, Secretary Husted declared July as “Game On Ohio” Month to highlight the major and minor league sports teams that are doing business in Ohio.

The Columbus Blue Jackets are Ohio’s only National Hockey League team. A Central Ohio mainstay since entering the league in 2000, the team is coming off of back-to-back playoff seasons. The Blue Jackets’ game day experience has been nationally recognized as being among the best major professional sports has to offer.
