Ohio Secretary of State's Office to Honor the Cleveland Indians

COLUMBUS – The Cleveland Indians have been selected by Secretary of State Jon Husted as one of July’s featured sports teams for the Ohio Business Profile Program.

A representative from the Secretary of State’s office will visit the team to present them with a certificate highlighting this accomplishment. As part of the Ohio Business Profile program, Secretary Husted declared July as “Game On Ohio” Month to highlight the major and minor league sports teams that are doing business in Ohio.

The Cleveland Indians are a charter member of the American League. The Indians have a rich history dating back to 1901. This history includes two World Series Championships in 1920 and 1948, and six American League Pennants.
