Husted to Address Ohio Elections Officials Tomorrow at 2018 Summer Conference

COLUMBUS – Secretary of State Jon Husted will deliver his final annual address to local elections officials from across Ohio tomorrow during the 2018 Ohio Secretary of State Summer Conference in Columbus. Secretary Husted will highlight the work done by his office and local officials to dramatically improve elections in Ohio during his tenure as Ohio’s 53rd Secretary of State, as well as announce new initiatives aimed at further bolstering the cybersecurity preparedness of the state’s elections infrastructure.
 
Since 2011, Secretary Husted has worked hard in making it easy to vote and hard to cheat across the Buckeye State. This has been achieved through a series of efforts and innovative reforms, including online voter registration and change of address, mailing absentee ballot applications, better utilizing technology to maintain Ohio’s voter rolls, and cultivating productive partnerships with local elections officials.
