Secretary of State's Office to Honor The Mennel Milling Company

COLUMBUS – The Mennel Milling Company in Fostoria has been selected by Secretary of State Jon Husted as one of October’s featured businesses for the Ohio Business Profile Program.

A representative from the Secretary of State’s office will visit The Mennel Milling Company to present the company with a certificate highlighting this accomplishment. As part of the Ohio Business Profile Program, Secretary Husted declared October as Agriculture month to highlight various aspects of our state’s agriculture industry.

The Mennel Milling Company started in 1886 and currently has over 500 employees. They started in the flour milling industry, but have grown to include other products such as popcorn and bakery mix.
