Hearing for Suspended Lucas Co. Board of Elections Member

COLUMBUS –  Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted this evening announced that the hearing scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, April 10, 2017 regarding suspended Lucas County Board of Elections Member James Hartley has been cancelled.

Mr. Hartley informed Secretary Husted this afternoon that he was waiving his right to a hearing and would instead submit a written statement for consideration.

The hearing was initially scheduled for Friday, April 7, 2017, but Secretary Husted postponed it until Monday at Mr. Hartley’s request as the suspended board of elections member had recently had a change in legal representation.
