Secretary of State’s Office to Honor Toledo Business Tony Packo’s

COLUMBUS –  A representative of Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted will be on-site at Tony Packo’s in Toledo to present them with a certificate and commendation in recognition of their being a featured business in the Secretary of State’s Ohio Business Profile program. Secretary Husted recognized Businesses visited by Presidents during the month of July, coinciding with the Major Political Party Conventions in Cleveland and Philadelphia.

Tony Packo's was founded in 1932 by Hungarian immigrants and has become a celebrity favorite for their original hot dogs, pickles, peppers and sauce. In 1972 the Packo bun signing tradition began and currently there are signed buns on display from Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
