Secretary of State’s Office to Honor Apollo Theatre in Oberlin

COLUMBUS – A representative of Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted will be on-site at the “Apollo Theatre” in Oberlin to present them with a certificate and commendation to commemorate their being a featured businesses in the Secretary of State’s Ohio Business Profile Program. Secretary Husted recognized century-old businesses during the month of June.  

The Apollo Theatre is the oldest movie theatre in Northeast Ohio that has been in operation continuously and now has two screens with digital projection to play mainstream movies as well as independent and classic films. Moviegoers have been frequenting the Apollo Theatre since 1913.
