COLUMBUS – Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted will discuss pay to participate fees for extracurricular activities in public schools at a panel held by The Ohio State University tomorrow, Friday, February 26, 2016.
Research shows that participation in extracurricular activities encourages the development of skills needed in order to be successful in life and that pay-to-participate fees create a financial barrier for poor and middle-class children.
