Statement from Secretary of State Jon Husted
COLUMBUS – Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted today released the following statement in a response to a “John Doe” lawsuit filed against the Office of the Secretary of State in relation to the investigation of alleged irregularities in the voter registration and signature collection efforts of ResponsibleOhio, the group promoting State Issue 3:
“The fact that supporters of a marijuana monopoly in Ohio filed this frivolous lawsuit makes it clear that there are many people who don’t want the evidence of potential election fraud turned over to investigators.
“Whenever there is a credible allegation of voter fraud or irregularities surface in the elections process, election officials have responsibility to investigate.”
