Husted Business Services Chief Named President of International Business Organization

COLUMBUS – Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted today announced one of the senior members of his team was named the President of the International Association of Commercial Administrators (IACA). The organization is a professional group of government administrators of business organizations and secured transaction record systems.

“Allison has played an integral role in modernizing the services we offer to Ohio businesses over the past four years, including our transition to offering online services,” Secretary Husted said. “She is a hard worker and a team player. It’s a great honor to have someone leading our business services efforts in Ohio who has gained such professional recognition.”

DeSantis’ primary responsibility will be to organize the IACA annual conference, which will be held in Columbus, Ohio in 2016. The 2015 conference, which is currently in session, is expected to bring professionals from 42 U.S. states, three Canadian Provinces, and 15 different nations.

Allison DeSantis earned both her undergraduate degree as well as her Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton.

She will remain in her role in the Secretary of State’s Office.
