Secretary of State Husted to Visit Tuscarawas County High School, Talk to Students About Voting

COLUMBUS – Recognizing the importance of educating the next generation of voters about the importance of participating in elections, Secretary of State Jon Husted will travel to Claymont High School on Monday as part of his ongoing Grads Vote initiative.  Secretary Husted hopes this program will help increase the number of 18-year-olds who are registered to vote in Ohio. 

Grads Vote is an outreach initiative that provides high school seniors with the information needed to become active Ohio voters.

October 6, 2014, is the deadline to register to vote for the November 4, 2014, General Election. Individuals may register if they will be 18 on or before Election Day. Registration forms and additional information are available online at MyOhioVote.com.
