Secretary of State Husted to Visit Horizon Science Academy of Dayton, Talk to Students About Voting

COLUMBUS- Secretary of State Jon Husted will be traveling to Horizon Science Academy of Dayton tomorrow, Wednesday, March 27, 2013, for his 2013 Grads Vote program.  Secretary Husted hopes this program will help increase the number of 18-year-olds who are registered to vote in Ohio.

Grads Vote is an outreach initiative that provides high school seniors with the information needed to become active Ohio voters. As part of the outreach effort, Secretary Husted is visiting high schools around the state to educate and inform students on the importance of voting.

April 8, 2013 is the deadline to register to vote for the May 7, 2013 Primary Election. Individuals may register if they will be 18 on or before Election Day. Registration forms and additional information are available online at MyOhioVote.com.
