A remote ballot marking system is available through each county board of elections for use by an absentee voter with a qualifying disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act to allow a qualifying voter to mark his or her ballot privately and independently.
If you are a qualifying voter and you wish to request an absentee ballot and use a remote ballot system to mark your ballot, complete the following steps:
It is recommended you check your registration status. You can do so by contacting your local board of elections. If your information has changed since the last time you voted and you have not yet updated your voter registration, follow this link to update your address online or if your name has changed, follow this link to complete a new voter registration.
You must choose one of the identification options below. Depending on which identification box you check, please input the corresponding information.
Check only one. If the Ohio driver's license number option is selected, please provide your Ohio Driver's license number. If the last four digits of your Social Security Number option is selected, please provide the last four digits of your Social Security Number. If you choose to send in a copy of your identification, be sure to send it in the envelope with your absentee ballot request.

After marking your ballot using the remote ballot marking system, you need to print your ballot, enclose it with your identification envelope/statement of voter, and return it to your county board of elections. Your county board of elections will mail an identification envelope/statement of voter and a return envelope to you.
