Secretary of State Husted to Certify Official 2012 Presidential Election Results

Columbus – Secretary of State Jon Husted today announced the certification of the official statewide election results will take place on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at 2:00 pm at the Ohio Secretary of State’s offices.

Secretary Husted will certify the results for the following races: President; U.S. Senate; U.S. Representatives; Ohio Supreme Court; State Board of Education; and, the statewide issues. The official results for these races are available here (XLSX).

Media are welcome to attend for photos and video. Please rsvp by emailing mmcclellan@ohiosecretaryofstate.gov by 10:00 am TOMORROW if you, or someone from your outlet, plan to attend.

Official results for state legislative races, local races and issues, as well as absentee and provisional reports, will be available in the near future. Once this information is ready we will share it with you. All official results will be posted online at OhioSecretaryofState.gov.
