Secretary of State Husted to Hold Regional Media Event at Allen County Board of Elections
Event is part of coordinated statewide outreach effort with county boards of elections

COLUMBUS – Secretary of State Jon Husted will hold a northwest Ohio regional news conference at the Allen County Board of Elections on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, to discuss the importance and recruitment of precinct election officials (PEOs), as well as preparations for the 2012 Presidential Election.

The event will focus on county boards of elections in northwest Ohio. Secretary Husted is holding five regional media events around the state in total. To date, the counties that have confirmed their attendance and will be represented at the event include Fulton, Hancock, Hardin, Lucas, Ottawa, Putnam and Van Wert.
