Secretary of State Husted to Visit Defiance County Board of Elections and Montpelier High School

COLUMBUS – Secretary of State Jon Husted will travel to northwest Ohio on Monday, March 19, 2012, for events in Defiance and Williams counties. The Secretary will visit the Defiance County Board of Elections and present Red Carpet Awards to two precinct elections officials (PEO). The Red Carpet Awards are presented quarterly and recognize the outstanding service and dedication of PEOs to the local communities.

Additionally, Secretary Husted will attend an event at his high school alma mater Montpelier High School, in Williams County. The Secretary will serve as the keynote speaker for the school’s “Meet the Teams” event.
