The Ballot Board met to consider and certify ballot language for the proposed constitutional amendment on redistricting.

 

August 9, 2012: Online Change of Address Tool

Secretary Husted announces the launch of a new online service that allows Ohio's registered voters to change their voting address online. This tool will help voters meet their primary responsibility: to be registered at their current address 30 days prior to an election.

 

August 8, 2012: Ohio Statewide Military Voting Briefing

Secretary Husted provides an update on Ohio's year-old Military Ready to Vote program.

February 27, 2012: Boards of Elections Swearing In Ceremony

At a Statehouse ceremony on February 27, 2012, Secretary of State Jon Husted administered the oath of office to nearly 60 newly-appointed and reappointed county boards of elections members.

 

February 22, 2012: From WKYC: Root Candle Visit

Secretary Husted tours the facility of Root Candle, a Medina-based company featured as a December 2011 Ohio Business Profile. Secretary Husted was on hand for the launch of a new line of Ohio-made candles.

Secretary Husted, Auditor Dave Yost and other state lawmakers introduced legislation that would levy penalties on public officials who knowingly use public funds for political purposes.

August 23, 2011: Military Ready to Vote

At this news conference held in Veteran's Plaza at the Ohio Statehouse, Secretary of State Husted announces the Military Ready to Vote initiative. MRV makes it easy for Ohio military on active duty to register and vote, get reminders about upcoming elections and important deadlines, and get other voting questions answered all in one place.

Secretary Husted Husted welcomes nearly 500 elections officials from around Ohio to the 2011 Statewide Elections Officials Conference.

 

May 6, 2011: Grads Vote/Elect Your Sticker

Secretary Husted joins students at Whetstone High School to announce Grads Vote and Elect Your Sticker. These programs are designed to get graduating high school seniors registered to vote and expose Ohioans of all ages to the electoral process by allowing them to vote on the next Election Day sticker.
