Secretary of State Husted To Be a Featured Panelist on the Bipartisan Policy Center’s “National Conversation on American Unity”
COLUMBUS –Secretary of State Jon Husted will discuss the need for redistricting reform in Ohio and other important elections issues as a panelist for the Bipartisan Policy Center’s “National Conversation on American Unity,” which is coming to The Ohio State University on Tuesday, October 15, 2013.
Moderated by John Fortier, Director of Bipartisan Policy Center’s Democracy Project, other panelists will include Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and Robert Bauer and Ben Ginsberg, the former counsels for the Obama and Romney campaigns (respectively), who are also serving as the co-chairs for the President’s Commission on Elections Administration.
The day-long event is part of the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Commission on Political Reform, which was created in March of 2013 to investigate the causes and consequences of America’s partisan political divide and to advocate for specific reforms to improve the political process.
