Secretary of State Jon Husted: Ballots For
Military & Overseas Voters To Go Out Tomorrow

Secretary Husted outlines key dates and deadlines for upcoming November 5 General Election

Military and Overseas Absentee Voting
Tomorrow, September 21, 2013 (45 days prior to the election), Ohio’s 88 county boards of elections are required to have ballots prepared for all military and overseas voters who have requested an absentee ballot for the November 5 General Election.

Military voters who have not yet registered to vote or submitted a request for an absentee ballot may still do so by visiting www.OhioMilitaryVotes.com and/or www.OhioVoterPassport.com for overseas voters. There they can download the Federal Post Card Application, register to vote and request an absentee ballot, get answers to FAQs, track their ballots and sign up for election reminders via e-mail or social media. They may also contact their county board of elections directly.

Absentee Voting By Mail and In-Person
Absentee ballots for the rest of Ohio’s voting population will be available starting on October 1, 2013 (35 days prior to the election), for both in-person and by mail. For information, go to www.MyOhioVote.com.
