Secretary of State Husted To Visit Lake County Board of Elections, Recognize Efforts of Longtime Poll Worker
Columbus – Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted will travel to Painesville, Ohio, tomorrow to attend an event at the Lake County Board of Elections honoring the hard work of longtime poll worker Beverly Getzy. Secretary Husted will present Ms. Getzy, who has served as a poll worker for more than 40 years, with a commendation for receiving the Precinct Election Official Red Carpet Award.
The Precinct Election Official Red Carpet Award is given out by the Secretary of State’s office and recognizes the outstanding service and dedication of poll workers throughout Ohio for their work in helping to administer elections in their local communities.
