Secretary of State Husted Recognizes Growth of Clark County Company

Secretary Husted tours the seepex’s Enon facility with Kamran Mirza, Director of Business Development for the company.

SPRINGFIELD – Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted yesterday presented seepex, Inc. with a commendation recognizing the company’s recent expansion and impact on the local community.

“I applaud companies, like seepex, that are expanding their business operations in our state,” Secretary Husted said. “We must continue our efforts to improve the business climate so that more companies are choosing Ohio, thereby improving our economy and creating new employment opportunities for job-seeking Ohioans.”

Over the course of the past year, seepex has added 50,000 square feet to its Clark County facility and created 38 new jobs. The $8 million expansion will enable the German-based business to increase its share of the company’s overall manufacturing capacity from 20 percent to 90 percent.
