SECRETARY OF STATE HUSTED TO VISIT CLEVELAND’S HORIZON SCIENCE ACADEMY, TALK TO STUDENTS ABOUT VOTING
COLUMBUS- Secretary of State Jon Husted will be traveling to Horizon Science Academy tomorrow, Tuesday, May 1, 2012, to continue his 2012 Grads Vote Tour. Secretary Husted hopes this tour will help increase the number of 18-year-olds who are registered to vote in Ohio.
Grads Vote is an outreach initiative that provides high school seniors with the information needed to become active Ohio voters. As part of the outreach effort, Secretary Husted is visiting high schools around the state to educate and inform students on the importance of voting.
October 9, 2012 is the deadline to register to vote for the November 6, 2012 Presidential Election. Individuals may register if they will be 18 on or before Election Day. Registration forms and additional information are available online at GradsVoteOhio.com.
