SECRETARY OF STATE HUSTED STATEMENT ON PROGRESS OF ELECTIONS REFORM LEGISLATION
COLUMBUS – The following may be attributed in whole or in part to Secretary of State Jon Husted regarding today’s advancement of elections reform legislation. The Ohio House passed House Bill 194 and the Senate Government Oversight and Reform Committee voted Senate Bill 148 out of committee.
“I am pleased with the progress made today in the Ohio House and Senate on the efforts to modernize and improve Ohio’s elections process. As the legislation moves forward I will continue to work with members of both chambers to ensure the final bill strikes a balance between access and accuracy.”
