COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Board of Voting Machine Examiners will meet on Thursday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m. in the 15th floor conference room of the Continental Plaza, 180 E. Broad St. in Columbus. 

The agenda includes:

• Welcome to new board members and brief overview of board’s responsibilities;
• Review of the application for certification of the Unity 3.2.1.0 Voting System (submitted by ES&S) and examination of the voting system for certification and approval for use in Ohio elections;
• Upgrading Premier counties to the Assure 1.2 Voting System, and
• Discussion of procedure for notifying voting machine vendors of Ohio’s recertification requirement.

This meeting is open to the public.

The board is composed of the following members: Dale Fellows, a member of the Lake County Board of Elections; Joyce Kale-Pesta, deputy director of the Mahoning County Board of Elections and Amy Searcy, deputy director of the Hamilton County Board of Elections.
