Local Issues Results: November 6, 2012

All 88 counties had questions and issues on the 2012 November general election ballot.   A total 1,794 issues appeared on the ballot is 1,794.  Below are the results of questions and issues by type:

• 14 Bond issues (9 are school issues)
• 19 Combination questions, which are all school issues (broken down as follows)
  • 4 Tax levy & miscellaneous combination questions
  • 12 Bond levy & tax levy combination question
  • 1 Bond issue & miscellaneous combination question
  • 1 Question with 2 bond issues & 1 tax levy
  • 1 Question with 2 bond issues & 2 tax levies
• 1,055 Tax levies (151 are school issues)
• 381  Local liquor option questions
• 331 Miscellaneous questions (broken down as follows)
  • 25 electric aggregation questions
  • 10 gas aggregation questions
  • 197 charter amendments
  • 20 zoning amendments
  • 52 income tax changes (15 are school issues)
  • 27 miscellaneous questions
