May 2012 Profiles
This May we are profiling companies throughout the state proudly owned or operated by women. Resource Interactive, an innovative digital marketing firm in Columbus, was founded by Nancy Kramer in 1981, leading the way into the digital age. Woodward Video Productions, founded by Emmy Award-winning producer Kelly Woodward, opened its doors this year in North Canton. Hard Hatted Women, a nonprofit based in Cleveland, educates young girls and women about the vast opportunities available in non-traditional careers. The 912 Group, started in 1992 by Ronda Barber and publisher of OhioMBE, is a marketing and consulting company in Granville that promotes small, minority, women and disadvantaged businesses. Milligan Workshops Inc., run by Sandy Milligan in Bowling Green, offers packaging, assembly and inspection services for manufacturers in a variety of fields. Firefly Play Cafe, started by Jennifer Kramer in 2010, is a modern indoor play space in Clintonville for children 6 and under.
