Bright Idea Shops was created when the assets of a long time Ohio Company, The Plastic Lumber Company, went out of business. We recognized the need to continue to offer Maintenance-Free Picnic Table, Park Benches, Waste Receptacle, and Park Signs made from recycled plastic lumber.

In an era where every dollar counts, our products provide a long term solutions to high maintenance site amenities. No more annual painting or staining when you install Bright Idea Shops' products at your park facility, apartment complex or University campus. Our plastic lumber is made from up to 97% post consumer recycled plastic lumber. When we make our 250 pound Hex Picnic Table, we are doing our part to remove over 1300 milk jugs from the waste stream.
