What do you like about doing business in Ohio?
dunnhumbyUSA was founded in 2003 and based in Cincinnati after dunnhumby Limited (headquartered in the UK) formed a Joint Venture with The Kroger Co. Over the past decade we’ve grown from 4 employees to over 700 and today enjoy revenues in excess of $300 million a year. Doing business in Ohio has been a contributing factor to our rapid growth. We were able to recruit some of the best analytical minds from universities in Ohio. We also work closely with a number of consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies headquartered in the region.

One of the most important things about working in Ohio is the quality of life. Our employees enjoy very affordable suburban and urban living, family-friendly communities and typically have a short commute to work.

Description of business:
dunnhumby is the world’s leading customer science company. We analyze data and apply insights from more than 400 million customers across the globe to create better customer experiences and build loyalty. Our insights and strategic process help clients create competitive advantage and enjoy sustained growth. dunnhumbyUSA is a joint venture of The Kroger Co. and London-based dunnhumby.

dunnhumbyUSA serves a prestigious list of clients in retail, grocery, consumer goods, health and beauty, food service, apparel, and advertising, among others. Clients include The Kroger Co., Coca-Cola, General Mills, Kimberly-Clark, Macy's, PepsiCo, and Procter & Gamble.

Helping Hands is a company-sponsored, 100 percent employee-led program that allows dunnhumby employees and their families to make a difference through gifts of their time, talent and contributions. Employees in offices around the world democratically determine which local organizations they support and work with those organizations to understand their mission, needs and how dunnhumby employees can make a difference. dunnhumbyUSA and Helping Hands have been recognized with the Pillar Award for Community Service for three years in row and the Volunteer of The Year Hope Award by Greater Cincinnati’s Freestore Foodbank.

Construction for dunnhumbyUSA’s new U.S. headquarters, dunnhumby Centre, in downtown Cincinnati is in progress and is expected to be completed in January 2015. dunnhumby Centre will feature nine floors including 275,000 square feet of office space for dunnhumby.
