The people of Ohio love and support their sports industry (statewide, at all levels, the state was an early adopter of synthetic sports fields). Most importantly, Ohio businesses always look to take care of their own.
Description of business: We got our start more than five decades ago as family-owned and Cleveland-based, S.W. Franks Construction Co. – specializing in general highway heavy site construction. In 1987, we changed our game plan and went to bat with the intention of developing S.W. Franks into a high performance sports field contractor.
Years after our first professional sports field installation at Progressive Field – formerly Jacob's Field, home of the Cleveland Indians – we've continued to tighten our focus on specialized sports field construction.
