Description of business: After years of tasting salsas that didn't have that "WOW" factor, Greg and Heather Shepherd, from Bowling Green, decided to make a batch of their very own. They were tired of salsa that tasted like "sauce", and were just as tired of eating salsa that was too chunky. They knew what they wanted in a salsa; the problem was they couldn't find it. So they created their own. They named it Stadium Salsa because of the many years of sharing their salsa with friends and family at tailgating events. Friends and family would request "Shep's Stadium Salsa", so the name "Stadium Salsa" stuck!
Using locally-grown tomatoes, the Shepherd's feel that they have come up with the best combination of the freshest vegetables along with the perfect blend of spices making Stadium Salsa a great-tasting, all-natural salsa. Stadium Salsa product line consists of Mild, Medium, Hot, Sweet & Spicy Salsa, Pineapple Habanero, Mexicali Dip, Holy Toledo XX Hot and Tortilla Chips! Stadium Salsa is an official sponsor of the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Cavaliers!
