Columbus is a city where it is easy to get involved and make a difference and there is a lot of support for entrepreneurs.
Description of business: Columbus Food Adventures offers small group guided food tours and private dining events. A food tour is a cross between a guided tour and a progressive dinner with stops at 5-7 different restaurants and food purveyors. Guests get to meet owners, see behind the scenes and learn about historic neighborhoods and new cuisines.
Columbus Food Adventures was the first food tour company in Ohio. We started running a website called taco trucks Columbus in 2009 and started organizing tours to take people to taco trucks. The business grew from that. We started offering 3 tour itineraries and now have 7 tours. We hired our first employees in 2012. To date, we have taken over 5000 people on food tours. We have held several fundraisers to raise money for the famine in Somalia and work with the American Refugee Committee. Company Statistics |
