Description of business:

Raisin Rack was founded in 1978 in Canton by former schoolteachers Don and Paulette Caster who wanted to make a difference in the health and well-being of peoples' lives. They were motivated by the terminal illnesses of their owner parents. Raisin Rack expanded to the Columbus area in 1982 and has grown and expanded in both the Columbus and Canton markets for the past 30 years. Raisin Rack has grown from a handful of employees to 65 today.

Founded mostly as a supplements store, Raisin Rack now is a full-service grocery and specialty-foods store with a dine-in cafe at its Westerville location and a juice bar at the Canton store. Raisin Rack also is committed to being green and supporting Autism Speaks.
