The number of talented amateur and professional musicians allows SEOSO to offer quality orchestral performances and educational outreach to the community of Southeastern Ohio. Description of business: Founded in 1974, the Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra, a semi-professional community orchestra, operates in partnership with Muskingum University. SEOSO performs five concerts each season with three of these concerts in Brown Chapel on the Muskingum University campus. As a gift to the community, SEOSO offers a free holiday pops concert in Zanesville. The annual children's concert takes place in Cambridge and provides family entertainment that introduces the children to orchestral instruments and music.
