What do you like about doing business in Ohio? Pottery has a great history in Ohio and we love the idea that we can keep it going. Most of our employees are generational potters. Description of business: We are one of America's last art potteries. Hartstone enjoys a proud heritage as one of America's premier potteries, having manufactured mugs for famous brands like Starbucks and items for Crate and Barrel. Everything is made on site, from making our clay to hand painting each item. Most people don't realize it takes 8 days for one piece to be ready to sell. In 2004 our company was closed and everyone feared that they would never see Hartstone Pottery again but 2005 we had a rebirth thanks to a group of investors.
