Expedite Your Filing
Mail-in expedited filings may be processed within two business days of receipt. The secretary of state offers Super Expedite filing for in-person clients. Once received by the Secretary of State, all expedited requests will be processed with priority. If there are discrepancies in mailed-in filings, rejection letters will be mailed.
A business day is noted as 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays and the day after Thanksgiving. The fees for each filing should be included as well as the appropriate fee for expedite service (see chart below).
When filing for expedite service via mail, it is suggested that you attach a correspondence slip and Form #593. The cover letter will indicate that expedite service has been requested. Form #593 is a correspondence slip that will guarantee the certificate and/or documents are returned to the correct locations. All corporate filings can be expedited except good standing certificates, UCC filings and copy requests.
