Competition Timeline

• The Competition will officially begin on Friday, April 10, 2009.  The first training session will also be held on Friday, April 10, 2009, in Columbus, Ohio and streamed live on the Secretary of State’s Web site.  Additional training sessions may be scheduled, depending on demand.  
• Interested individuals must sign up to enter the Competition before 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Friday, April 24, 2009.   The deadline for interested parties is necessary in order to plan for judging and scoring of plans.
• The Competition will close and entries will be due by 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Monday, May 11, 2009. 
• Competition winners will be announced on Monday, May 18, 2009.
